I am a composer currently studying at Stony Brook University in New York. I think music should be beautiful on multiple levels. It should not only be accessible and pleasant to hear, but should also contain deeper meaning—secrets contained within which may not be obvious at first listening. I write for real, classical instruments because I love the individual element that a musician can add to a performance. I like to create in all mediums, whether it be composing, drawing, writing, painting, or sculpting. My main hobby is mathematics, with special interests in symmetry, polyhedra, and surreal complexity. Other activities I enjoy include ballet, judo, hypnosis, and lucid dreaming.
